A simple, and well made bike rack can make such a huge difference to the space inside your garage, so we believe that sometimes you can DIY, so we looked at a few different options that you could make yourself.
So if you can try one of these yourself at home, don’t just look through the list!
Depending on what part of the world you live, you may be surprised to know:
Worldwide, there are more bicycles than cars.
America’s love affair with bikes began in the early 1800s, and that has never stopped since. Bikes are no longer a think just for fun.
In towns and heavy populated areas in particular, they are quickly becoming the main way for people to get around town.
With that in mind, we forever see hundreds of DIY help for you cars, but sometimes i feel bikes get left behind. Well look through our list here and see if you can put something into working use.
For around $50 in PVC or if you can get hold of some for free, which can be possible if you know someone—and with only with pipe cement and a small handsaw. Thats all you need, with these two things you can easily create the exact creation in our picture here. So this would be for someone who is a bit more handy and enjoys building and creating something, but still its something a beginner could get stuck into and really we think it looks great. Its solid and will last you years.
Again with these all you need is a pole and hanging devices which you can pick up from Amazon
After that pick a suitable place to put the pole and with the small amount of space you can quickly clear out your garage/
Again this is another option that could be made on a very low budget. All you need is wood! You might be able to get hold of some free lumber from a builders yard or lumber mill if you are lucky. Or you could use some old furniture to craft this. It doesn’t have to be the same this picture if a rough guide of what you could create, but know that it is possible
So finally we think pallets are an option you could consider, they are usually quite easy to get hold of. Lean them against the wall, or hang them on your wall, and if you get creative im sure you could think of a few other ideas. But basically these things are perfect for bikes to slot into, and can be painted and touched up to really look quite smart.
